This week our students will be learning about how important it is to Get in the Zone! With life’s challenges, we can all experience a variety of feelings and emotions. These feelings and emotions may even include anger, jealously, or resentment. The key is to recognize when we are out of sorts, pause, and figure out a way to get in a better state of mind. When we can do this and get into a better zone, the actions we take are much more effective and result in a far more positive outcome. Children may struggle with being impulsive and acting on negative emotions. In this week’s lessons, students will learn about “getting in the zone,” and why it is important to act when we are feeling positive, rather than when we are angry or frustrated.
