Our Cottonwood Star of the Week is Bobby Phillips.
This school year Bobby shined as a 4th grader exploring the world and all it has to offer through his Moving Beyond the Page curriculum in his first year as a Cottonwood student. From Asia to Africa and all around the world, Bobby has explored this amazing world through food, arts, crafts and unique projects, and really cool field trips. Native American History was at the top of his list as he learned about his family heritage. Bobby has clocked over 90 hours of reading on top of his daily lessons and recently started his first Brave Writer class. Some of his favorite books are Crossover, Rebound, Simon B. Rhymin’ and We Are Family. Not only is Bobby an all-around star in his classwork, but he also enjoys playing Fortnite, Monopoly, and is a leader on the basketball court, too! Playing up two grades on his AAU All-In Elite Basketball team, we are so proud of all that Bobby has accomplished this school year and look forward to an all-star summer!
