The Cottonwood School offers a dynamic homeschooling pathway for TK-12 students, offering a uniquely personalized, whole-learner approach that nurtures academic, social, and emotional achievement.
Our Cottonwood families and students benefit from a flexible approach that offers a variety of learning pathways that are personalized to each learner’s interests and needs.
Through enrichment programs, academic support services, and integrative activities, we continually build and connect our Cottonwood community. We offer myriad ways for students, parents, teachers, and staff to engage with one another, virtually and in person, so that natural and healthy social development complements the dynamic learning opportunities of homeschooling. And you have regular meetings with your homeschool teacher to review progress and provide support.
We infuse all of our school programs and educational offerings with Social Emotional Learning Foundations (SELF) to support the whole learner. We also include regular field trips, workshops, and learning events that promote the goals of our Everybody Belongs group that lifts the voices of traditionally marginalized people.
In addition, Cottonwood offers a variety of innovative virtual classes designed exclusively for our homeschool community and taught by our very own caring and supportive teachers. These programs include TK Explorers, Superstar Readers, Boost, and Jr. High RISE.
