At The Cottonwood School, we prioritize personalized learning: supporting each student’s unique skills, talents, and goals. Families and teachers collaborate to choose from approved educational products and services, including curriculum, technology, enrichment materials, field trips, and classes, that align with the student’s academic plan. All materials must be secular and purchased from approved vendors.
Personalized learning thrives through mutual respect between homeschooling parents and dedicated, credentialed teachers. Each Homestudy student is allocated an instructional budget to meet their individual learning needs, with funds paid directly to approved vendors and service providers under the teacher’s approval.
When your student is enrolled with The Cottonwood School Homestudy Pathway you will be provided with:

How It Works
- Online Ordering: Request orders online with approved vendors and Community Partners (CPs)
- HST Approval: HST approval is required for all orders
- Instruction: Applicable for in-person and virtual instruction with CPs and online platforms
- Funds Are Used For:
– Curriculum
– Technology
– Field trips, events, museum passes, tickets, and experiential learning - Flexibility: Parents have the ability to request educational products and enrichment from The Cottonwood School-approved vendors based on their child’s needs and course of study with HST approval.
