Over the past several weeks our students have been learning about dreaming big, embracing creativity, thinking positive, and acting and adjusting. These components of our Everything is Possible mindset are part of having a Growth Mindset. This week our students will learn about neuroplasticity and what it means to have a growth mindset versus a fixed mindset. A growth mindset can encourage a passion for learning, improve achievement, and foster resiliency when facing new challenges. Children with a growth mindset are more likely to bounce back from failures and often see challenges as an opportunity to learn. They have a “can do attitude“ and believe “I may not be able to do it yet, but I can learn how to do this!”
