This time of year, it is easy to be reminded of the many things to be grateful for through school lessons, family gatherings, and celebrations. However, if we encourage our children to live their lives with gratitude every day by modeling it ourselves, they’ll likely become more resilient, empathetic, and happier people. Oftentimes, it can be through our most challenging life experiences that we truly come to understand how living in an attitude of gratitude can enrich our lives. The Attitude of Gratitude Mindset teaches us the importance of seeking the positives from every experience and being thankful for all that we have. Through this mindset, we learn that we can use the positives or the negatives of our lives as the foundation on which to build. In these lessons, we guide students to focus on all the things they have, leaving no time to be distracted by what they don’t.
