Staying informed about school-wide news, program updates, and important dates directly impacts your child’s educational journey. The Wednesday Weekly is designed to be your go-to source for all of this, carefully organized to make it easy to navigate and find the information you need.
Here’s how we communicate with you:
Hawks’ Nest: This parent website is your gateway to all things Cottonwood. It’s a resource hub filled with information that’s accessible only to our Cottonwood families, offering everything you need to know about our programs and services.
The Wednesday Weekly: Every Wednesday, you’ll receive this school-wide newsletter packed with updates from each of our departments. We’ve organized it into sections with a table of contents, so you can easily jump to the parts that matter most to you. It’s crucial to read the Wednesday Weekly to stay on top of upcoming dates, field trip releases, and news that could enhance your child’s educational experience.
Program-Specific Newsletters: If your child is part of one of our specialized programs, such as TK Explorers, Superstar Readers, or CVHS, you’ll receive additional newsletters with targeted resources and updates.
Emails from Your HST: Your Homeschool Teacher (HST) will be in regular contact with you about your child’s specific needs. They’ll also point you back to the Wednesday Weekly for school-wide announcements and important news.
